Understanding the process: - Before you begin, it's important to understand some key points. In your brain there are neural pathways, these pathways have been forming since you were born. The pathways form very quickly and easily in the first 3 years of life and determine a huge part of how we think of ourselves, how we learn, and how we think. As we become older we continue to form these pathways, but at a much slower rate. As these pathways continue to form, tiny assumptions, prejudices, and narrow beliefs are created. It is these creations that form the illusionary thoughts.
As you use the Mind Matrix technique, new neural pathways will be created. Pathways of negative illusionary thinking will lead to new pathways of simply experiencing each new moment without judgments. It takes time for your mind to completely go in the direction of a new pathway. You may have brief moments of complete clarity and notice that the feeling fades away. It's very important that you don't try to hold onto or recreate the feeling. The feeling of mental clarity comes from not creating the thoughts that interrupt the natural flow of perfect energy through your body. It doesn't come from doing or trying to feel anything. If you try to hold onto the feeling you'll just be creating a new illusion to hold onto. Just experience it. Every time you experience the mind state of mental clarity, those neural pathways will become more defined. As they become more defined mental clarity will become your natural mind state.
Follow steps one and two the best you can and move on to step three.
As you stop "doing" these things you should become very relaxed and the thoughts in your head should be very slow. Give yourself some time to enjoy this relaxed state, often people will naturally quit creating the thoughts as they quit creating the breath. As thoughts begin to arise, remember that you put forth energy to create these thoughts. Don't get upset or try to stop them (the thoughts that you are noticing have already been created) just try to notice where they come from and quit putting forth the effort that will create the next one. Every time a thought arises do the same thing, never losing sight of the realization that you are putting forth effort to create these thoughts. This is what is meant by, "do nothing, just sit". Remember that all you have to do is breathe, and even that happens without effort. As you sit, never lose sight of the fact that these thoughts are only illusions (just like the hologram) that are keeping you from mental clarity. Tip: When you are using this technique, think of it as a straight road that leads to mental clarity. When you are not creating the thoughts, you will be on this straight road. If an illusinary thought arises and you follow it, you will be led off the road. When you find yourself following a thought off the road, realize it, let that thought dissolve (quit creating it), and you'll be back on the straight road again. If you are going to take your meditation seriously, you'll want to use a tea infusion. These are to be used only occasionally, typically every other day for the first week, every third day the second week, and once a week after that. What these teas do is, give an elevated level of mental energy (usually lasting about 15 minutes) that will allow you stay focused enough to get your mind going in the right direction and not get side tracked by the illusionary thoughts. You might be able to achieve the results you desire without a tea infusion, but usually the mind is so caught up in thoughts that you'll need something help break you out of old thinking patterns. If there is a meditation center or a specialty tea store in your area, they should have some available for you. If there is nothing available in your area or you're not sure what to look for, click here. How long should you sit ? Usually when this question is asked it's because the meditator wants to know how long they have to do it each day to get results. With Mind Matrix the question arises because without any thoughts of boredom you might sit for hours and not even know it. You can use the technique whenever, wherever, and for as long as you like. If you have someplace you need to be then you'll want to set an alarm so you don't miss it. It's usually a very different experience for people to all of the sudden want to meditate. This want comes because you are actually reaching a state of mental clarity and it is immensely enjoyable.
