Peaceful South Austin Location
Pregnancy massage by: Kristi Ludlam
Let me begin by saying I absolutely loved being pregnant. I loved everything about it except for the occasional aches/pains, mood swings and the typical weight gain.
I truly believe I was able to enjoy my pregnancy because I ate extremely healthy, did yoga 3 to 4 days a week, floated on a regular basis and received prenatal/pregnancy massage once a week.
The massages and floats definitely reduced stress by allowing me to take the time to just stop and do absolutely nothing, decreased swelling in my arms and legs, relieved many aches and pains in my muscles and joints (especially my ever so widening hips) and allowed me to be present and aware with my growing child.
I had a wonderful labor experience…my husband and I took Bradley Method classes which opened our eyes to many things. We had a natural birth (most empowering experience of my life) and our daughter Skye is now 4!! I just can’t believe it. She is so free and beautiful!
I am a mom and have compassion for those who are pregnant and have children already. I know what it’s like because I’ve been there and I am there. I love that I can offer the gift of massage to all those in need.
